Have read recently in one of the bow hunting mags that mineral licks do very little to nothing in antler development. Most of the size of the antler came from age and genetics. Do not wish to start a debate or argue, but this is the reason I quit using “Lucky Buck” As far as being able to tell if you are seeing the same buck year after year I don’t think that this is a definite possibility. Unless of course, you have a pen operation or a physical difference in the animal involved where it is a definite sighting how could you be sure? Just my thoughts and would appreciate hearing yours and others thoughts.
